Users will need to enter MFGPRO though the AlphaCom MFG01 terminal emulation app on their desktop and perform a series of password resets. MFG01 is a Linux server that is now cloud based. To be properly setup, before the user starts using the MFG01terminal emulation method for accessing MFGPRO/QAD, confirm that this cloud access, previously requested from the Web site QAD Support Home for Cloud Automation Requests/User Administration is working.
Note that from AlphaCom the cursor does not move as the password is entered, although , once in the MFGPRO App, cursor movement is normal. These password resets will allow access to QAD using the newly set password for MFGPRO.
If MFG01 access is not working but access has been set up in house to QAD the password the user creates in QAD will work in MFGPRO, although the Linux Password will need to be setup and confirmed for terminal emulation thru AlphaCom.
