When email is being blocked by Impersonation Protect Definition and the email address is confirmed as safe, the email address can be added to the permitted senders list.


  1. Log into Mimecast Administration Console
  2. Select Directories from menu
  3. Select Profile Groups
  4. Click Premitted senders
  5. Hover over Build -> Click Add Email Addresses
  6. In Group Additions box enter full email address
  7. In the Add a Note box enter the user who confirmed the email address is safe.
  8. Click Save and Exit
  9. Log out of Mimecast Administration Console
