1. Download new version to endpoint
  2. Unregister the endpoint from EMS
  3. Click the Unlock Settings button in the lower left corner
  4. Create a backup of the Configuration from the Settings tab.  Create a password.
  5. Shutdown FortiClient from the tray icon
  6. Uninstall from the Control Panel


  7. Install new version
  8. Open the FortiClient Console
  9. Click the Unlock Settings button in the lower left corner
  10. Restore the backup of the Configuration 


Should this fail to connect after the restore, sert  the Zero Trust Telemetry IP address to  67.52.41.114 (:8013 should be the port  and the Site Name is Default).
