- Download new version to endpoint
- Unregister the endpoint from EMS
- Click the Unlock Settings button in the lower left corner
- Create a backup of the Configuration from the Settings tab. Create a password.
- Shutdown FortiClient from the tray icon
- Uninstall from the Control Panel
- Install new version
- Open the FortiClient Console
- Click the Unlock Settings button in the lower left corner
- Restore the backup of the Configuration
Should this fail to connect after the restore, sert the Zero Trust Telemetry IP address to 67.52.41.114 (:8013 should be the port and the Site Name is Default).
