Users are imported from AD using https://192.168.100.43/cuadmin/home.do making sure to selected Find user in [LDAP Directory] and selecting the user template and clicking Import Selected once the selected is found.




Once the user has been imported,  establish Device Association in the other UCMAdmin portal under user management>End User by clicking Device Association and adding the device by its four digit extension.



In this same interface, from the menu bar select Device >Phone> Find Phone where [Directory Number] [begins with]  and enter the extension associated with IP Phone as applied in AD. Confirm the user name is properly entered  (if not edit, save  and apply config) then select the Line [1] and, again, confirm or update the user name and the fields present on that screen. At the bottom of the Line 1 Device screen as field named Users Associated with Line can now be populated by clicking Associate End User and adding the user.
