These settings need to be configured on the Printer prior to proceeding with a new Batch Order.
In order to configure the printer, press the “Pause” button to ensure that the printer is not trying to process a print job. Once paused, press the “Setup/Exit” button to begin configuring the printer. Once in “Setup/Exit”, look for the following parameters and configure them to the following settings, you can navigate through this menu by using the Arrows Keys on the on the Touch Panel:
Press the Plus (+) or Minus (+) buttons on the Touch Panel to set these parameters.
Darkness 13
Print Speed 6
Slew Speed 8
Backfeed Speed 2
Tear Off 16
Backfeed Before Password (1234)
Label Top 8
Once you have verified that these settings are configured, press the "Setup/Exit" button to exit the operating parameters. The LCD screen will display "Save Changes", scroll through these options until you find the "Permanent" value and press the "Right Arrow" key to configure the changes. Once these parameters have been configured, press the “Pause” button to proceed with the print job.
