Follow these steps in order to restore a file


1) Log into the Back01 Server


2) Once in Back01, click on "Start" and search for "vRanger Backup & Replication"


3) Once vRanger Backup & Replication is open, click "My Repositories"


4) Once My Repositories is open, click on the appropriate Repository within "vRanger Repositories" (Most likely DD2200 (EMC Data Domain Boost)


5) Once you are within the correct repository, search for the Machine Name that hosts the file you wish to restore



6) Right click the appropriate backup by date under the appropriate Machine Name and select "File Level Restore"


7) Open the appropriate Disk in which the information is stored at and wait for it to load


8) Once the Disk is done loading, drill down to the location of the file that you wish to restore within the Disk


9) Once you drill down to the folder storing the file you wish to restore, select the appropriate file under "Savepoint Files", select the destination you wish to restore it to under "Destination", then click "Restore"


10) Go to the location that you restored the file to and make sure that the file is copied over


11) Click "Start" on Back01 and under "Search", type the name of the drive that is housing the file that you wish to restore (Ex. \\fp02\e$). Once you are in the drive, drill down to the folder that has the file you wish to restore


12) Once you are within the appropriate folder, create a new folder called "Restored From Backup" and move the backup file to it 


13) If working with a user, copy the path to the file and paste it to the Service Ticket

Make sure to clean the path so that the user can find it
